Silvia's blog post! Uwaga!

In the school of the cute Eryk there was the children's day. There, our children have had the opportunity to play side by side with some disabled children and other children. Really nice "school of life" for understanding that  we all are the same.
After a tasty ice cream that did us some beautiful mustaches, we are full of energy and ready to play! Let’s go to school!

Polish summer. Uploading...

Here are some recent activity that we had in May and June during our EVS project:

Poznan trip

On 19 and 20 May we got the chance to see Poznan, a really nice city that me and Silvia got to see in two days, all by walking with a map in our hands, a thing that is easier than it looks like with some practice of course :)

Warsawa, you are way too tangled!

Today we arrived in Warsaw for our on-arrival training. We will be here until Saturday.

After 6 boring hours by train that included also some sleep (or a lot I might say :), and some fun with my EVS companions, Silvia and Katinka, we got to the tangled city. We tried to take the bus, but we had no chance to actually understand what bus we should take or if we should go left or right :)

Going together realizing our dreams - EVS Promotion blog

New begining! :) I am finally in Poland and have just started working on the EVS Project "Going together realizing our dreams"  as an EVS volunteer.

What does that mean?

EVS means the European Volunteer Service that allows young people between 18 and 30 years, from European countries, to have a new experience, in a new country, a new culture, with the purpose of self-development and  personal skill achievement.  (See more information about EVS here). Also, check out  more information on the official polish website for EVS project that Mariusz Socha, pastor of the Baptist Church in Zielona Gora, is coordinating.
